  21. Well, unfortunately the real world effects can be much more math-intense 
  22. than the idealized formulas (i.e., trajectory motion without air drag 
  23. effects with altitude is much harder to solve than the idealistic zero 
  24. drag approach). The bad news is that there is frequently no closed-form 
  25. solution; the good news is that there are empirical approaches that 
  26. require nothing more than good algebra practices. There are some good 
  27. engineering handbooks (such as Marks Standard Handbook for Mechanical 
  28. Engineers) that may help. Also, try an Encyclopedia of Physics.
